There was nothing special about this speciality hotel and it was such a disappointment. The place was literally in ruins and it pinches me to see all my money goes to waste. The rooms were really dirty and unkept and the service was pathetic. I wont recommend this to anyone and it was the worst experience.
Food Republic used to be one of my favorite food courts, but my visit this morning, after a hiatus of about six months, was quite disheartening. Many of the popular food stalls, like the Taiwanese food stall, Guan Mee Pok, and the Chai PNG stalls, were closed, probably due to it being a Tuesday, which isn’t a busy day for them. This left the Japanese food outlet as the only bustling spot. While the drinks stall, along with the Pohpiah and Kueh Pie Tee stall, and the chicken wings stall were still operational, the overall vibe of the food court felt lackluster. Punggol Nasi Lemak across from the food court was still busy, but it was a pity to see Food Republic not as vibrant as it used to be.
I’ve been for lunch a few times recently at the Food Republic at Capitol Piazza. This outlet is quite convenient as it’s usually easy to find a seat, even during the busy lunchtime peak. Each time I’ve visited, I’ve had the wanton noodles, which have been quite tasty and reasonably priced.
I had a wonderful experience with the staff, who were not only very friendly but also highly knowledgeable about their products. I took advantage of their Mother's Day promotion to purchase a full range of skincare products and also signed up for a facial. I appreciated how they explained the function of each product as it was applied during the facial. The treatment was unique and comfortable, focusing solely on massage without the use of steaming or equipment.
