Great experience finally learning the detailed history of an iconic landmark of London. We have all seen this marvel before in books and movies.
The experience was nothing short of breathtaking, as I admired the grandeur of the bridge and the stunning views of the River Thames.
Choose an audio guide if offered; they provide an in-depth understanding of the site.
Some monuments have restricted entry areas, so plan accordingly to avoid surprises.
If you want peace, try not to visit during school holidays or local celebrations.
Get there early to Tower Bridge to avoid the crowds. I went a bit late and it was packed.
Bring comfortable shoes for Tower Bridge. I wore sandals and regretted it with all the walking.
The lighting at Tower Bridge is best in the late afternoon. I got beautiful photos at that time.
